Cañas Tennis provides competitive high performance programs for intermediate and advance
levels as well as recreational programs for all levels and ages.

Full Time

Canas Tennis Full Time program is designed for students seeking to strike a balance between high performance tennis training and a college preparatory education. Full time students attend the program for a minimum of one semester.Full time Canas Tennis student athletes learn each aspect of the Canas Tennis Integral System: Technical, Tactical, Physical and Mental Skills. Canas Tennis strives to develop a well-rounded player with solid fundamentals. The full time program enables each player to maximize his or her potential through a personalize plan and schedule. Canas Tennis will maximize the potential of each player, incorporating the strengths into their own profile as players and pattern of play.The best tennis training techniques are the central focus at Canas Tennis. Canas Tennis coaches developed group sport specific components: footwork, stroke mechanics, pre-match preparation, shot production and every other aspect of the game. The depth of experience in the Canas Tennis staff ensures that each aspect of a player’s development is addressed. We believe in a formula, on and off the court, that produces success.Each full time player begins with a tennis and performance evaluation. The results of the evaluation are presented to each athlete and then an individual plan is developed for the athlete. The players are evaluated on an ongoing basis and all results are carefully tracked. Full time athletes have a “performance portfolio” that includes everything from their tournament schedule, video analysis reports, and nutritional needs to individual stroke evaluation.

Afterschool

Canas Tennis afterschool program is designed for students that want benefits of training with Canas Tennis while attending their own home school. The training schedule for afterschool participants is carefully designed to maximize performance and tennis skill development. Similar to the Canas Tennis full time program, each player begins with a tennis and performance evaluation. The results of the evaluation are presented to each athlete and then an individual plan is developed for the athlete. The players are evaluated on an ongoing basis and all results are carefully tracked. Afterschool athletes have a 'performance portfolio' that includes everything from their tournament schedule, video analysis reports, and nutritional needs to individual stroke evaluation.
The 2016-2017 Afterschool Programs have rolling admissions, so a child may start at any phase of the program.

QUICK START TENNIS

(Ages 3-8)

Children will be introduced to tennis using the proper grips and technique for the basic strokes. These classes will develop balance, eye hand coordination, footwork and striking balls.
Monday – Friday 4:00-7:00 pm

 

5% sibling discount
·If player starts program in the middle of the month, the charge will be for remaining weeks left as well as for the full following month
·Payment is due by the 5th of every month otherwise a $35 late fee will be assessed
·Racquet Rentals are $10/session
·If a try out is requested first 15 minutes are at no cost.
