Martin Garcia



Martin, a professional tennis player since 1996, has dedicated his life to tennis excellence. Ranked in the top twenty as a doubles player in the world, Martin won 8 ATP titles and reached 14 ATP Finals. He was a member of the Argentinian Davis Cup in the years 2000 and 2001 and a semifinalist in the 2000 French Open Grand Slam. As a testament to his character and understating of the game, Martin was elected to the ATP Players Council, joining ten players, including Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic. Martin served on the council for four years. Martin has a tremendous passion for the sport of tennis, as a player and now as a coach. For the past five years, through Canas Tennis, Martin has been educating young players from all over the world. His goal is to provide tennis players with all the tools and information to become the best in the sport. Martin has a vast experience in the sport and his keen vision, meticulous work ethic, and organized planning, make of him one of the best coaches in the field. Some of the best tennis player in the world have reached out to Martin for coaching and guidance. Some of these players include: Guillermo Coria (former number 3 ATP player in the world), Paola Suarez (former number 1 WTA player in the world in doubles and number 10 in singles). Martin is so well respected as a coach that he was selected to be a personal coach for the Argentinian Tennis Team that took part in the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
